MAINE ITINERARY

Maine is an absolute treasure chest of incredible shoreline, beautiful anchorages and picturesque villages. It is a place where the pace slows down and you stop and smell the roses.

Day 1
Fly in and join your yacht and and her crew in Portland. After getting settled, take your first ride over to Boothbay Harbor. If time permits, we'll stop along the way at remote Seguin with the most imposing lighthouse on the coast of Maine. With luck we'll climb the lighthouse to enjoy the spectacular view. Boothbay Harbor bustles with all types of boating activity, along with quaint shops and restaurants.

Day 2
From Boothbay we ride ten miles out to sea to Monhegan Island. Majestic and alone, Monhegan is a wonderful unspoiled small island. Here you can enjoy the scenery or hike the trails. After lunch we cruise back to Rockland. Almost every type of boat from schooners to ferries to small classic sailboats and large yachts can be found in Rockland. Anchor in Broad Cove and see the spectacular Camden Hills and the lights of Rockland.

Day 3
Cruise out to Matinicus Island and spend the day on Maine's outermost inhabited island. Extremely remote. Matinicus has meadows, woods, and gorgeous white sand beaches. After exploring this wonderful island and enjoying lunch on board, cruise into Camden Harbor for the night. As the guidebook says, "Camden is the jewel of Penobscot Bay." Lighthouses, steeples against the mountain backdrop, and windjammers plying the waters all add up to make quite a unique and wonderful setting.

Day 4
After a morning around Camden we cruise over to Dark Harbor on Islesboro. Ten miles of bays, headlands, harbors, and coves await your yacht and her guests. Lunch in any number of scenic coves and then head up Penobscot Bay for another treasure -- Castine. Here you may anchor out or tie up for the night. Castine is a quiet village with lovely old homes and quaint shops. It is also the home of the Maine Maritime Academy with its outstanding reputation for teaching our future merchant seamen.

Day 5
Today we cruise from Castine down Penobscot Bay through the Eggomoggin Reach to Mackerel Cove on Swan Island with lunch aboard. Afterward we cruise up past Mt. Desert, hopefully spotting a few whales as we go to Bar Harbor.

Day 6
Most guests spend the day in or around Bar Harbor, with all it has to offer. The town is interesting, full of shops and restaurants, but also you have access to walks, biking, and sightseeing the Acadia National Park and the view from Cadillac Mountain.

Day 7
No one mentions this is the last day as we leave the harbor and cruise to Little Cranberry, one of the Cranberry Isles. We make a stop here to explore this pretty little island, with its views of the mountains in the distance and its walking trails and museum. After lunch we cruise up the only fjord on the East Coast of the U.S., Somes Sound. We anchor here for the night surrounded by the hills of the National Forest. We cruise down Somes Sound and choose either Northeast Harbor or Southwest Harbor for your goodbye to your yacht and her crew. What's the difference between Northeast and Southwest harbors? I'll tell you when you get here.

NEWPORT - NANTUCKET ITINERARY

Day 1
Come aboard your yacht in Newport Harbor and set off on an afternoon cruise to Sag Harbor on Long Island Sound. Enjoy a late afternoon stroll around this historic little village before your first culinary treat on board.

Day 2
After brea~ast begin the day with a boat ride out to Block Island. Small and quaint, Block Island is a fun place to explore either by taxi, bike, or foot.

Day 3
From Block Island we cruise to Nantucket, picturesque and charming, arriving in time for lunch on board. This afternoon, walk around the charming village and/or ride all over the island sightseeing before another wonderful dinner on board.

Day 4
Leaving Nantucket we take a ride to the jewel of New England -- Martha's Vineyard. Here watch all the beautiful sailboats and beautiful people glide past from the deck of the yacht. After lunch take in the almost unequaled charm of this island. We recommend a full island tour. Many guests choose to spend an extra day here enjoying the sights.

Day 5
This is a fun cruising day, gliding past the Elizabeth Islands and then motoring through the
Cape Cod Canal to Boston for a cruise into Boston Harbor. Tie up for the night and choose from an unlimited list of things to do.

Day 6
From Boston we take a ride over to Provincetown where we spend the afternoon and evening. Here anchor out or tie up and walk on the beach or stroll through town
