Rhodes/Lindos - Charming small villages, ancient ruins, a Medieval town and exceptional nightlife are some of the main attractions of this famous Greek island. The legend of the Colossus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, still intrigues visitors today. Also of interest are the old town of Rhodes, built in the 12th century by the Knights of St. John and Lindos where the ancient Acropolis offers a truly panoramic view of the blue Aegean.
Kalymnos - Well known for its natural sponge fishing - a tradition spanning hundreds of years whichis still alive today. Pothia is the island's capital with 11,000 inhabitants. It is built in a valley at the foothills of the surrounding mountains.
Some of the most beautiful architecture in town can be found at the Town hall and the Library. Also not to be missed are the sponge factories.

Patmos - It is here that S. John the Divine wrote the Book of Revelations. The Monastery of St. John, founded in 1088 by the blessed Christodoulos, is considered one of the richest and most influential Monasteries in all of Greece.
Lipsi-Leros - Lipsi's history has long been linked with the island of Patamos. For several hundred years Patamos' Monastery ruled here and even today it owns portions of the island. You can also find many pristine beaches along with cordial taverns and cafes. Leros, a beautiful island of the Dodecanese, has been inhabited since the Neolthic period. Vast archaeological finds compliment the quiet, secluded beaches of this often overlooked isle.

Simi - One of the most beautiful smaller islands of the Dodecanese. Apart from the numerous beautiful beaches hidden between the rocks, the island's capital, Ano Symi, is one of the most picturesque spots on the island. The island is also famous for its age-old sponge fishing tradition.

Naxos - The largest and most fertile of the Cyclades, Naxos boasts several sites of antiquity which often go unseen by visitors. The Kastro, a Venetian fortress, is one such gem located in the town of Hora.
Santorini - To some, Sanorini is the most unique island on earth, and it is possibly the site of the continent Atlantis. Fira, the island's capital is built at the top of a black, crescent shaped volcanic crater. Do not miss an excursion to Akrotiri with excavations from the Minoan civilization.

Ios - Ios is the "something different" of the Cyclaes. The island has countless chapels, olive groves, vineyards and beautiful sandy beaches with a lucid atmosphere.
Paros - Paros is famous for its Parian marble. Parikia, the island's capital boasts the Katapoliani church, containing priceless Byzantine religious relics, icons, frescoes and woodcarvings.

Delos - Mykonons - Delos, as the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, is a sacred island of antiquity. This once bustling island is now uninhabited, leaving priceless archaeological treasures such as the famous Row of Lions, the three Temples of Apollo, and magnificent Hellenistic mosaics. White-washed houses, narrow paved alleys, windmills, numerous shops selling local arts and crafts, open air cafes, small taverns and discos - all add to the uniqueness of the cosmopolitan island Mykonos.
Tinos - Kea - Tinos is the sacred island of modern Greece, crowned by the Church of Evangelistria. Leaving the port, visit the islands picturesque villages (Pyrgos, Falatados, and Panormos) and indulge in a bit of local flavor. Kea is an island of rugged slopes dotted with small cultivated valleys, charming sandy beaches, fruit orchards, quaint villages, lots of windmills and a large number of churches.

Sounion - The southernmost point of Attica, Sounion is thehope of the Temple of Poseidon, built between 490 and 400BC.

CORFU
